When River Road Sprinkle Co. came to Aligned Life Design, they had already established themselves as a vibrant, hand-dyed sprinkle company, but they were looking for help in creating a brand that captured the essence of who they were.
This Queer- and BIPOC-owned, hand-dyed sprinkle company doesn’t make your average sprinkles— all of River Road’s sprinkles are hand-dyed pearlescent balls of bliss that are then packaged in high-end glass jars. The colors are mindblowing and the dye names are hilariously tongue-in-cheek. We were thrilled to work with them to create a brand that is simultaneously high-end, beautiful and fun.

Their resulting brand can be boiled down to one word: DREAMY. We determined that their customers love to create and consume beautiful, handmade products, and we wanted their brand to feel the same way. The sprinkles are the star of this show, so we created packaging that highlights the sprinkles and the colors within those clear jars with a simple hand-lettered logo that is both modern and crafty. A key feature of the product design was a label that featured both the fun names and colors of the sprinkle blend within.
In order to create an experience that surprises and delights we designed a series of thank-you postcards that reinforce the brand with little treats to include within the box, custom mailers and sticker sheets.
